He has black edges on white blooms. The only spray I use is the Bayer Fungicide. All the rest of my 100(?) roses are remaining very clean. What is up with the Pope?

I had PJPII and got rid of it. Just wasn't very vigorous at all. I now have Maria Shriver and am in love. Glorious Grandiflora -- heavenly smell. Don't waste your time trying to figure it out. . .don't know why everyone raves so.

It isn't wet weather--we have plenty of that and I've does quite well in our yard. PJPII took Queen at the Rhode Island Rose Show in 2012.

Here on central coast CA it slowly declined over 5 years and finally removed.

Could be thrips. They love light colored roses. Can you post a picture?
