| Hello we received some Double Pink Knockouts yesterday morning and after letting them sit in a shaded area for a day I planted them. When I was planting I noticed one of the larger branches has a split in it.
Should I just cut it off use some grafting tape to try and get it back together? Only ask since they are so new/small and it would be a decent size branch I'd have to cut Thanks! |

| I would send or take it back to the seller! |

| That split looks like it's been there a while. It may not be a split but rather where another cane was removed. Is there good new growth at the top of that cane? If it looks healthy otherwise I'd let it be. If the rest of the cane does not look healthy, take it off. In the long run it will be better for the plant. Hopefully it will send up new shoots to fill in that spot. |
