Marilyn Monroe rose VS Brandy

which rose would better in zone 6A

and which would you pick and why?

I don't have either personally but know others in my rose society that do. Brandy is hardier and more vigorous than MM is for them. But MM sure is a beauty and might be worth the extra effort.

I have both. MM is a finer rose for exhibition - more consistent form, longer stems. Brandy's color is extraordinary and the blooms are huge when fully open - one of the largest.

My experience has been the opposite from what seil reports - Brandy is much less hardy than MM and MM is much more vigorous.

Both need spraying, though, and from your other posts, Hrose, I don't think you'll like that.

well i always have been a sucker for beautiful women Roses in this case hahaa..i have Brandy i'll get Marilyn Monroe as well
