Help: What is this insect in my rose buds?

I need some expert help here! I often find these tiny insects, sometimes alone, sometimes as many as 3 or 4 at a time, in opened rose blooms. They don't appear to be causing any damage to these blooms, no holes or discoloration. Sizewise, they're clearly visible, but obviously small, maybe 3-4 mm long. I was afraid they were curculios, but they don't look like the pictures of those insects and they don't seem to be harming the roses. Anyone out there got an idea?

I have no idea what they are either, but I swear I've seen them here also. They look like the critters that I'm apt to inhale when I sniff a bloom before looking for occupants first.

Exactly. Wife is tired of me bringing them into the house with cut roses. But not tired enough to ask me to stop bringing in the roses :)

It's a type of beetle that feeds on pollen and nectar, completely harmless unless maybe you inhale one.

Thanks Michaelg. Got a rough name for it, even a genus?

Sorry, I've forgotten. Baldo Villegas can tell you.
