Brandy VS Summer Sunshine

Which one of these HT's would you choose? and why?

I'm not sure why you would compare the two. One's yellow, the other is not.

Brandy is perhaps one of the finest apricot roses avaiable. I think Marilyn Monroe has taken that place lately in exhibition circles, but Brandy still holds it own. While Marilyn leans toward a very light apricot, Brandy starts out a very strong light-orange and fades beautifully to a medium apricot. When fully open, Brandy can be one of the largest blooms out there.

I have Brandy and it is one of my favorites. It has a huge bloom, just measured one at 7" across. The color stands out and I can see it from a great distance away. I love the apricot color. It also has a sweet, tea fragrance.

I just looked Summer Sunshine up at HMF. It seems to be an OK rose if you are looking for a yellow rose. So it comes down to which do you want, a yellow or an apricot colored rose.

Without knowing your location, I couldn't even begin to answer your question.

I will say tho that, from your other posts, you appear to be located in a climate with some blackspot pressure. If that is so, 'Brandy,' a rose with a significant Pernetiana background, might not be an optimal choice for you.
