Red cedar berries killing roses ?

maxim2do

Is it possible that the berries from a red cedar tree are killing the rose bushes planted around it ? The rose bushes that are closest to this tree continually die and need to be replaced. The berries are too small to simply remove. The tree is beautiful, but so are that roses that are dying.
