Flower looks a lot like a Dr. Buck's rose called 'Carefree Beauty' or sometimes sold as "Katy Road Pink"

Well, there are maybe a thousand bright pink roses. Is it a climber? Fragrant? Repeating? How wide is the open flower? What is the history of this plant? What is your climate zone? Need a side view of a bud and closeups of thorns and whole leaves. Very pretty though.

Wish I knew:( .i planted so many of them at once.this one is strange though.the flowers look really frilly(and very wide)

Did they have metal tags on them?

Did you buy in pots or as bareroots? Or were they discount mystery roses?

Angel Face? Though it's sort of mauve.

Not Angel Face, it's too pink and doesn't have enough petals. As Michael said there are tons of bright pink roses so the more info you can give us about it the better chance there is of IDing it.

Don't know what it is, but it looks really like my own root Carefree Beauty, which is floppy with twiggy branches (and has not grown much after three years).

It's Carefree Beauty. I have 11 of them. :-) I just got 5 more from Spring Valley Roses this Spring. They're pretty and very hardy.

Care free beauty! Thx rose people :)...I'm at the dog house with my wife.lowes had a sale on roses and I went and got 5 more even though I'm not allowed to anymore.she didn't catch the rose virus yet;)

lol, tigerloveroses, about your being in the dog house with your wife for buying all of those roses. Just because she hasn't caught the rose addiction yet doesn't mean there isn't hope that she will. ;) I do consider it a very fun blessing that earlier--before they closed for the summer--I got my fiance bitten by the rose bug by sweetly asking him to take me out to Northland Rosarium roses here in Spokane. He asked me and the very helpful staff there oodles of questions, bought me some of the roses I've really been wanting to grow, and one just for himself! It's all good. Best to you and your beloved!! :)
