A favorite red. Yours is beautiful. I used to grow it, and miss it now that I do not spray. It is beautiful. Sammy |

| I bought what was labeled CI, but the first bloom was a dark pink. It has two buds on it now, but they also appear to be pink. Is CI thorny? I am wonder if this one was mislabeled or if it just needs time to get the real color. That's a fabulous bloom tiger. |

| What disease issues do you have with CI? Here in humidity central of Galveston, Texas, I never have to spray mine. |

| Beautiful! I have one in the front yard (and need to get photos of it). It does superb with the heat and gets only the slightest touch of BS. Been dousing it with weak solutions of Miracle-Gro rose food, and it's been giving me plenty of growth. |

| That is a beautiful bloom. I gave up on my CI--just wasn't very vigorous and couldn't recover after our brutal winter. Was lovely when it bloomed last year, but didn't bloom very often. Maybe I got the runt of the litter, or something. Anyway, I replaced it last month with Oklahoma which is more vigorous and has the most beautiful dark, dark red blooms. Oklahoma

| I grow 2 ci in pots and both seemed to have powdery mildew and nutrient deficiency..first,I literally cut down all its leaves, left the canes bear and fed it with worm casting.when the leaves grew again( within a week),I sprayed them with copper sulfate, which seemed to help, also gave them iron pallets.that seemed to help.now it's in full bloom,I'll load another pic.they seem to be very susptible to pm.i have other roses growing next to them and they were untouched by mildew, while the chrysler had it all over the place... |
