Some of them really make you wonder.
My first thought was is that what it looks like? Then I thought maybe the person that named it, stew and haggis are their two most favorite things in the whole wide world? But then I looked at your link and it says at the bottom it was named after a German folk band.
I guess that's a little more understandable.

Haggis to me is one of the most vile concoctions ever conceived of for human consumption, and I'm not overly fond of stew, so that rose will never make its appearance in my garden. Can you imagine having to answer "Oh, what a pretty rose, what's its name"? I wonder if that German band has some Scottish members.....

Yes Kim, I cut out the rose name story from my first response. I'm glad they added that edit feature. I was just chatting away at you like we were sitting here having a cup of coffee talking roses. Then after I thought about it I decided it might not be too appropriate to post that one on the forum. Never thought about you getting it in your inbox.
