| One of my roses that I planted about 10 days ago has bloomed and it is definitely not the White Knight I thought it was...
I like it, kind of reminds me of my Tiffany but not as pink with no yellow undertones. Would love to hear any ideas as to what this rose may be, thanks! |

| Thanks, Carlene! I looked at First Prize on HMF and some of the photos are quite similar yet some look like First Prize is a darker, brighter pink that whatever it is I have growing -- hmm... Do you know if the intensity of pink is heat sensitive? I do have one more bud on the bush and I guess I will have to wait and see when that one opens. I will definitely be checking out some more First Prize photos and doing a petal count. |

| Okay guys, here is another picture of the first bloom...
I also did a petal count after I cut it and it was 27 Any other guesses besides First Prize or does it look like that is what it is? |

| It looks a bit like New Zealand. Does it have a strong fragrance? New Zealand is pretty fragrant. |

| It reminds me somewhat of April in Paris, but not sure if that is what it is... IMHO, I don't think it's New Zealand... |

| Hmm, I would say it has medium fragrance. You know it does remind me of the April in Paris pictures I've seen, I actually wanted to order that one but they were sold out. It has the white mottled look on the outer petals. Not sure if that's a possibility though, didn't see it in their catalog, I know not all roses were in their catalog though. It's got another bloom about to open so I will update with some more photos when that one is ready. Thanks for the ideas! |
