first Japanese beetle!

it's only June 6th....this is too early! Found this guy on one of my roses this morning...squashed him right after taking the pic. I'm in Eastern Iowa and we usually have until July before the 'plague' starts!

| I found three last week and removed them. There was one yesterday and I just knocked him onto the ground! |
