Any information on this rose?

I purchased a couple body bag roses this spring, I loved the name (Guardian Angel) on one which was the reason for the purchase. It has grown to be amazing, orangey with coral outer petals and a light yellow at the base. HMF has very limited information and the shown breeder doesn't show this one.

Would love to know more about this rose but it seems very obscure. Anyone familiar with it?

Are you talking about 'Manchester Guardian Angel'? That was the only similar rose I could find, but your description goes sound like the apricotish floribunda Maybe the site below?

Here is a link that might be useful: Guardian angel link.

RE: Any information on this rose?

Folks who sell "body bags" often rename known roses to whatever suits their marketing whims at the time. There's no telling what rose you actually bought, but I'll bet it's just something that is easily available in commerce but which they have renamed.

And look, the marketing whizes got what they wanted from you -- someone to buy the rose because the name pleased them.

Thank you Professorroush for the link, same name entirely different rose. Manchester Guardian Angel is white as well. Help me find has another Guardian Angel listed with an orange description but no pictures.

I don't feel suckered by the name, on the contrary I paid two dollars for the plant and it's amazing. Just was hoping to get some info. regarding zone, growth habit ect..

Please post some pics of yours on HMF -- then they'll have pics the next time someone buys one.
