| It's been pretty cool in Milwaukee, WI--thus with that added to the slower growth to begin with this season, wondering if the weather and past winter could have caused something. One red rose opened up yesterday. It is very pretty, but has some white striping on some of the lower and middle petals. It almost looks like it is supposed to look like that. I know it is not though because they always are completely medium to deep red only. The rose bush itself has always had a small amount of what appears to be Mosiac disease--yet the rose bush has always been extremely healthy other than the few leaves that are affected and very prolific and is approximately 15 years old. Thanks anyone! |

| Weather conditions may definitely affect bloom color. OTOH, it is possible that you have a sport. You could tag that cane, and watch to see what later blooms look like. |
