My neighbor has 2 hybrid teas in his backyard. He doesn't like gardening much and told me I could practice my beginner skills on them. I don't know the name of these roses but one use to produce yellow blooms and the other one produced large pink blooms. I see 2 blooms of pink and the rest are very slender canes are all Dr. Huey. Everything is in bloom now. Is it too late to get this plant back under control by removing all the Dr. Huey canes (now that I can see which ones they are) or I suggest he dig them out and plant new roses? If I dig out all the Dr. Huey canes from the base of the plant, I don't think there will be many good canes left. I'm feeling a little 'stuck' as to what I should do. Thanks for all your help
