The cage protects the bush. It had a big problem with rust because I wasn't paying attention. The blooms were effected, not as good and pinky white. Now that it is healthy again, I get yellow blooms with a little pink.

beautiful blooms and don't you love that round shape Peace has? I learned not to cut my Peace and Chicago Peace back at all and it gets better every year. Somebody said Peace hates pruning and I think it's true.

Love your PEACE DeerSteve, and just as kittymoonbeam mentioned PEACE is notoriusly known for disliking hard pruning. :)
