Chamblee's Rose Nursery

Can anyone tell me approximately how much they charge for shipping? I was trying to order some roses, but I don't want to order them blindly without knowing how much the total bill will be. I live in PA and plan on ordering 3 roses if that helps.

Kim, the note at their website that they will contact you about the shipping cost is misleading. The fact is they tell you the shipping cost after you fill out the shipping address and before you make your final decision about ordering. They're good people with good roses.

Yes, they are great to deal with, plus their roses are great!

Good value for the money. They stop shipping for the summer months though due to hot weather.

I just checked my last invoice, and it was 21.44 to ship 4 roses to East Tennessee. I always figure about $5 per rose is average on gallons. Plus, Chamblees doesn't charge the handling fee that some nurseries charge. Just remmeber that they are no longer shipping until Fall :)

Thanks everyone. I did fill in the address section and continued onto the next sheet. You're correct that the shipping notation is misleading. Once you get passed the address section the following page gives the final total BEFORE officially placing the order. They should really place a note one the first page stating that "shipping will be calculated on the next page" or "click next to review your order". I did just order Sharifa Asma, Pat Austin, and Jude the Obscure for the fall. All of this to help me mourn the loss of Lady Emma Hamilton to RRD a few weeks ago.

Ouch! RRD is everywhere! I'm glad you found 3 worthy roses to comfort you.
