Site Technical Question

When doing an internet search on the rose, 'Tropical Fragrance,' some gardenweb rose forum threads were returned. I logged in and posted to one, but it doesn't appear here. Further investigation revealed that the thread has the following web address:
http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/roses/ This forum uses that address without /load/. However, if one enters the http://forums2.gardenweb.com/forums/load/roses/ address, one is immediately redirected to the address without "load."
I guess the real question is if I can log in and post to the "load" site, why doesn't it appear here?

RE: Site Technical Question

Have you attempted to find the info you're searching for using the search function on this forum?

Check the dates on the thread that you're attempting to reactivate. Chances are, the post you refer to is more than a year old.

The 2 major rose forums here on Gardenweb generate a higher than average amount of traffic; consequently, individual threads tend to disappear into the ether fairly rapidly. However, those 'closed' threads remain accessible to folk, like you, who do generic web searches.

My advice to you is this: Initiate a new thread, and post a link to the old one if you think that is necessary to elicit the info for which you're searching.
