I always liked 'Olympiad.'

Keeps unusually long in a vase. I confess, I got bored because every flower is the same. Yours looks great, though.

Steve - Lovely rose and looks healthy. I used to have Olympiad and the blooms are great, but my bushes weren't vigorous. I'm thinking about trying it again, maybe it will do better.

My Olympiad and Firefighter are competitors. (In my yard) Olympiad is actually a smidge more gorgeous. BUT Firefighter (also gorgeous) has a better fragrance than most of my Austins.

Dualing Beauties at Dawn....my next book.

Michaelg, how could you get bored with perfection? (Not said argumentatively, just jesting)

I have a vase of gorgeous olympiad roses on my dining room table right now. They are a beautiful rose and last a very long time in a vase which is great for people like me who enjoy having them indoors.

I planted four roses in mache pots about 3-4 months ago. Before going in the ground Firefighter was the runt. Since then it has acted like it was on steroids.
