I think my Shreveport looks mighty fine this last day of spring, so thought I would share. This rose bush has been in my yard over a quarter century.

Yeah, that's gorgeous. Any scent? Does it get a lot of blooms? How big is the bloom?

Hi Carol, My Shreveport is same as one described in Roses, How to Select, Grow and Enjoy by Richard Ray and Michael MacCaskey. Grandiflora with 3 to 4 inch blossoms suffused with orange, salmon, cream and yellow tones borne in clusters. There are a lot of blossoms. The book states fragrance is mild tea scent, but mine does not seem to have any scent--however, my nose might not be as good as the author's schnozs. This is a tall bushy upright plant with ARS Rating of 7.6. I like Shreveport a lot. Hope this helps, Jim
