| Here it was at planting in mid May, looked pretty bad, wasn't sure it would make it...
Here it is now, first bloom, but doesn't look like what I expected... What do you guys think? Thanks,

| Afraid it probably is. If you look at the photo's on helpmefind for Arizona, you'll see that the coloring deepens in some areas of the country/weather patterns/or something. |
|
| It's been hot and dry in Michigan and that could definitely effect the color. It will probably be brighter in the fall. |

| Okay, thanks guys! Just wanted to make sure it wasn't mislabeled. I think it is very pretty and love the color, it's just that the bed I put it in has more hot / bright colors (orangeade, new year, sunsprite, hot n spicy) and that seems so soft and sweet :)

| Also because it is a young plant, you are not going to get good quality color yet. Wait a couple of years until the plant is really established, the color and form will improve. |

| Doesn't look like my Arizona, but I'm in a completely different climate. Mine is much more an orange blend throughout (google rose arizona, then press images - mine looks like those). Is it fragrant? My Arizona has no fragrance, but heart of gold has a marvelous fragrance. Regardless, it is very pretty, and blooms only get better as the plant matures. |
