Has anyone grown a Purple Perfection Rose? I have only seen it in the cheapie catalogs (Honeycreek Nursery, Direct Gardening, Interstate Nurseries, Burgess Seed and others whoâÂÂs catalogs are all the same) advertised as a hedge rose. IâÂÂm interested in growing one as a single plant. It is supposed to grow 5â high by 3â wide with a 4-ýâ flower. Photos of it have ranged from dark Lavender to Dark Purple. It is described as Wine Purple. My main questions are: How long is the bloom?. Just a June Bloom? Longer? All summer? I have looked all over the Internet and only the above mentioned sources always pop up. I also would like to know if itâÂÂs some old fashioned rose, or just a purple shaded rose that these catalogs have given their own name to. If you have grown one of these, please share any info you may have. Thanks.
