Using Gardenweb as a research resource

Not that I'd want to deter anyone from asking questions on this forum, as I've asked more than my share of basic questions here. But I have learned over time that doing a simple google on your question first, and putting in a search string such as "gardenweb "your question ... may give you more answers than you know what to do with, and get your answer quicker than waiting for responses.

that is true! I have done the same, sometimes I can get by with that, sometimes I have a particular twist that best is answered by a new post. I think of this board as somewhat conversational, and don't try to be redundant, but don't feel prohibited from asking 'bulk' rose questions about a string of new purchases. I don't think you are implying that, just sayin'!!

I have been using google to search the garden web for years!!

Before I post, I have already checked for answers on google. I like that search better (sorry gardenweb)
