I need a short pink or pink blend for the front of my garden. I was thinking of the Alywick rose. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Do you mean Alnwick? If so - very nice rose bt somebody from your zone or similar will need to speak to size. It is a nice small bush here.

The Alnwick Rose's fragrance is out of this world, one of the best of the Austins, IMHO.

It is a compact rose, repeats well.

Bishop's Castle has a similar growth habit, a little taller. It also have a wonderful fragrance.

Wisley 2008 is immature in my garden, but looks like it will be about the same size as The Alnwick. Beautiful fragrance to this rose as well.

Both of my The Alnwick roses are back of the border roses, easily 5-6' tall even in less than prime conditions. Krista's zone 4 might keep hers more compact - mine is narrow side to side but very upright and tall, like Queen of Sweden.

If you want a more reliable short pink Austin, Pretty Jessica seems to stay short for everyone, my Sharifa Asma is only 3' tall, and I think Jubilee Celebration would be short if it ever survived a winter for me (smile). In the PNW, things may differ.

This is the third year with the Alnwick rose for me and it is also about 5 feet tall in my garden. Very beautiful and vase shaped. Love the blooms and fragrance but not a front of the border rose.
