Please check my roses for me?

I know this question is getting asked a lot lately, and I'm probably just being paranoid for that reason. But I just want to be sure since I've never experienced RRD myself and am afraid this could just be an early stage of RRD.

Could someone please let me know that my KOs are okay? The long canes w/ single buds at the top are what's worrying me. I know that RRD usually has excessive thorns and odd shaped leaves as well but I wasn't sure if that would come later.

Thank you so much.

All I see is healthy new growth! Don't be concerned with red growth. Many many varieties of roses have new growth red in color. What you would look for is deformed new growth. Yours are just looking beautiful!

Your plants look healthy.

Much growth this year that seems out of the ordinary ... is due to the bad winter we had ...

Thank you both so much! The red didn't concern me too much because I do see that on a lot of my roses but the tall canes was really what worried me! I figured I was overreacting w/o seeing any of the other signs but I just wanted a more informed opinion since I am only in my 2nd year of growing roses - I have a lot to learn!

aegis that's interesting! My knockout basically died back to the ground this year so that makes sense.

Thanks again for your reassurance that my KO is okay. :o)

Thanks Seil. I really did suspect I was overreacting but I needed people who were more experienced than me to give me that reassurance. :)
