My neighbor received this as a Christmas gift perhaps 12 years ago. I would like to get one like it but don't know the name. Any help much appreciated.

Roses with this color and form include Sonia and Queen Elizabeth. Sonia more consistently maintains the tight, high-centered bloom form; QE has an extremely tall and vigorous plant, and is much more common. QE does sometimes have the red-rimmed leaflets; I don't know whether Sonia does.

Any fragrance? How large are the flowers? Do they usually bloom singly or in clusters? Does the plant get really tall, or does it stay compact?

Pinks are the toughest to identify because there are so many of them!

There is no fragrance. Flowers are about 2" in diameter. Bloom singly. Stays compact, about 20" tall.

With 2" blooms at a height of 2', the rose is probably classified as a mini-flora.

I can think of several with this look. You might want to do an ADVANCED SEARCH on HMF.

Here are the links to a few roses that seem close:

and more.

The rose may also be classified as a miniature rose if it was introduced prior to the acceptance of the mini-flora class by the ARS.
