| This ... caterpillar? was on one of my roses today and since I didn't know what it was and it looks like a leaf-eating caterpiller I put it in a bucket and am asking you guys. Is it a good or bad caterpillar? I'll kill it if it's bad, but if it's good I definately want to let it live. |

| It is a tussock caterpillar and it stings. Be careful with ones that are tufted, especially if brightly colored. |
