I watered Monday afternoon. It is nor Wed morn. PJP's leaves have done this since Monday. It's been around 100 and sunny here for a week or so.

I will also post another message and photo of leaves from my Peace. The are not the same as PJP and not so many on the bush, but I don't know what this leaf pattern means.

I'm not sure and I'm kinda new at this but I think it just means that it's HOT! My sun sprite and chihuly are doing the same thing and I think it's due to the afternoon heat. I have come to my own conclusion that no matter how much you water or mulch, that if it's 100 degrees outside you are going to get scorched leaves.

Yes, I agree with that. They could have some fertilizer burn, but I think the problem is mostly heat related. These are the dog days of summer.

There are probably nutrient deficiencies involved due to the extreme heat and the water stresses which occur during it, no matter how much or frequently you water. During this mess, the prime directive is just keeping the blamed things alive. I have not fertilized at all, nor has anything other than plain old Department of Water and Power terrible water been sprayed. Mine are frying like mad, but there is nothing to be done about it until these conditions improve. Kim
