My neighbor has this rose that she thinks is a QE but it doesn't really look like it on HMF

It has produced a few different blooms on it and right now that is a single bloom on it along with the double.

No, the color is way too deep. QE is consistently medium-light pink with a slight salmon cast.

Yes...I agree with Mich..way too dark.

Is it fragrant? Maybe Pink Peace?

Diane it was last year a little bit but not this year.

Thanks Michael and Zyperiris

nope, not QE. Wrong colour and looks way, way too short (QE is a giraffe)

RE: Is this Queen Elizabeth

Well Donna cut it back by half so it was much taller
QE is the big one

RE: Is this Queen Elizabeth

No, way too dark/red. Not enough thorns either :)

It looks like "Electron"...

Not QE and not Electron either. The form is all wrong. Electron always has exhibition HT form for me and the buds are very urn shaped. Not rounded like I see on your rose. I don't think it has as many petals as yours either. Maybe Pink Peace but that usually has a very narrow whitish or paler pink petal edge to it that I don't see on yours. There are a lot of different ones it could be. HMF has 10 pages of deep pink HTs.

No way is that QE. It's not Electron, either - few bushes are as viciously thorny as Electron.
