| Hello there! Being new to roses and gardening in general, I would like your opinion on a possible RRD infection on my knockouts. I have five knockouts in a row and the three older ones (3+ years) have odd red growth. I unfortunately cannot tell you whether this growth is regular as I did not pay close attention to them prior to this growing season. I do not have any odd buds that I can tell, no deformed flowers, and no excessive thorniness that I can find. However, I have a large amount of red growth (especially on bush #2).
Please ignore the spent flowers, I have been refraining from pruning or doing anything to them besides watering due to the heat/drought we are having. Also, I am located in central Pennsylvania. Any thoughts on whether this could be RRD would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time! |
