| No, not true for the US generally. I'm constantly replanting roses where roses have grown. There is a condition common in northern Europe called "rose replant syndrome." |

| Just make sure to add organic material when you plant. I grow 450 roses and I have been replacing roses with better varieties and I have never had any problems. |

| I replant in the same spots all the time too. I've never had a rose not thrive because of rose replant syndrome. |
