| I would have never imagined that mislabeled roses were so common, I didn't even knew that they were ever mislabeled until reading around the forum here!
Anyway, here is another from my new garden, this one was labeled as Hot n Spicy and was a "body bag" rose. The photo on the bag showed a hot orange almost reddish hybrid tea shaped bloom. Also this looks nothing like the Hot n Spicy roses I've seen on HelpMeFind. I planted all of my beds by color and that has proven to be quite interesting as the new blossoms open up -- mostly nice surprises though, such as this one... It has an amazing honey fragrance that I haven't smelled with a rose before. I love it! The color is magenta / fuschia. The bloom shape is quartered, I'm not sure what it is called, perhaps Old Garden? No idea here since I'm a newbie this year but I am enjoying learning all I can :) Thanks for your thoughts!

Pretty, but definitely not HOT & SPICY! Might be one of the DAs.

Thanks, Beth! You think a DA would end up as a bagged rose? I thought they were only special order or from a fancy nursery. I looked up a few and it kind of looks like Young Lycidas but a little more quartered. Any other ideas?

Oh yeah the DA's do get bagged up once in awhile. I have a monster ABRAHAM DARBY that was supposed to be the climber ALOHA. Not sure what your rose might be. Maybe try posting some pics of the blooms on the bush.

Good idea! I'd be delighted with a surprise Abraham Darby. Kind of fun getting surprises since they are justification to buy another rose (the original intended one) :)

Bumping this one up with a new bloom...happened upon a picture of William Shakespeare 2000 and thought this could be it, what do you think?
