Your Love Song is beautiful, it looks very healthy!

The weird thing is when we planted the bush, we thought we planted it in the center, but all those blooms in the pic are on the right side of the bush. The center looks empty of blooms & then there are some buds on the very left of the bush that have not opened yet. Hopefully, when the bush is ready to be deadheaded of blooms--more will start to fill in on the front of the bush. arghhhhhhhhh!!

Lovely! You really can't choose where it will bloom. The rose does that on it's own. Just enjoy it!

I've noticed that many times a newly planted rose will grow "lop-sided" the first year even though I carefully positioned it when I planted it. Usually in the second year the rose bush has acclimated itself to its new home & grows in a more normal, balanced form.

Thanks! Yes, w were so careful to 'try' to get it positioned perfectly. I remember that saying to my hubby after eyeballing the bush, "Keep it this direction". Thought we had it perfectly centered. Now I look & think, 'It looks like it should have been facing another direction when we planted it, how'd we do that when we were being so picky & careful?' Oh well, it still looks gorgeous & healthy.
