Junior sampling the buffet

I couldn't tell if she was eating the abelia or some scrub oak. They like the scrub ok and that's ok with me. The abelia has never been touched, but neither had the decimated agapanthus. Both were planted more than 20 years ago.

I know, I know - deer are horrible for roses. Bad deer.
