Exchanged Maria Stern for Gold Medal

The 2nd best thing I learned after becoming a cashier at Lowes(first being the discount xD ) was that all plants have a year return policy.
So this week I was talking to our plant specialist, talking about how my Maria Stern was not doing so well. As I explained what it was doing, she reminded me that if it was still a year into it's purchase, I could bring it back. So I did.
Well we had nothing but knockouts and climbers(which I don't have room for on my 3rd floor patio in my apartments) so I kept hold of the cash and waited. Well today I noticed we had classic roses again, yippee! I noticed mostly reds and pinks, bu didn't get to check it out till I got off of work.
First thing I noticed as I walked over(besides how yummy and rosy it smells?)? A 8 budded rose bush with no blooms just yet. It's tag? Gold Medal. I could have sworn I'd read about it on here, so I grabbed it.
Ohh, and to give ya'll a laugh. My little Blue Girl I grabbed back in February, which in it's pot came up to my knee? It's now my height! She like's to grow!!
