Hi folks. I have a rosebush that was here at our new place when we moved in. The rosebush is 10 to 12 years old and has split. Still very very healthy. The tag says Tahitian Sunset but it really does not fit. With the stripes like this pic anyway. Some of her blooms are blended apricot to yellow with a medium red blush. I will post a photo of the other blooms she throws too if I can. Please help me ID this rose, I really need to know her name. I tried HelpMeFind but just got nowhere.... Stan The Rose Man

Looks kinda like a faded George Burns to me. The second pic slightly reminded me of Chicago Peace. But those are just guesses on my part. Kate

GB opens very intensely yellow and red. What about 'Perfume Tiger'?
|
Take a look at 'Caribia' (aka 'Harry Wheatcroft').

Thanks for the input. From the pics I have found none of those are it. I think the strange blooms are due to the messed up weather we have been having. Also quite possible this old rosebush has split off a nice sport.

Wow! Maybe you have that striped Peace sport that was thought to have been lost, New Orleans. Fancy that! Peace has very distinctive, puckered, leaves. What do the leaves on your bush look like?

Nastarana, the leaves are not at all like Peace and I know what you mean, as I also grow Peace in my rose beds. HollyKline, nope, that is not her. I am going to stick with Tahitian Sunset as that is what her tag says. Just got a unique but beautiful set of striped blooms from her.
