| I received a Princess of Wales as a gift from a gardening website (Garden.com, I believe, but I can't be sure), back in the late 90s. This is NOT the same rose as Diana, Princess of Wales.
Shortly after I received her I read somewhere that she likes a bit of shade so I planted her in a spot with dappled shade throughout the day. I thought she might bloom better with more sun, so I recently moved her into a large foam pot with more sun, but she needs a LOT of water in a sunny spot. Does anyone have this rose? I'm wondering where and how it grows for others. For me she blooms almost continually and the bush is healthy. |

| Yes, I received one from Garden.com as well. In full sun, does just fine there, but my grower season is shorter than yours. Is a bit of a water and fertilizer hog, but a trooper. |

| Diane, do you why they sent this rose for free? Mine arrived very close to my birthday, and I have no idea how they even had my address so I assumed that a forum friend had it sent to me, but I later learned they sent it to others as well. Anyway, for obvious reasons this rose is very special to me. |

| They sent it as a "thank you" gift to customers, no other reason. Kinda the same way that Amazon.com used to send a thermal coffee mug the first two years they were around. It was a nice gift. I'm sorry they didn't make it, I received very good service and good plants from them. |

| Sorry, I didn't mean to post that question twice. The thing is, I didn't recall ever ordering from them so I was surprised they had my address. |
