Wilting blooms and buds

David Austin rose, Mary Rose. Last year and this I have had the blooms and buds wilt. I don't think it is blackspot.
Any help would be appreciated. I am in Zone 5a.

If you were in Southern California, I would suggest that gophers had eaten the roots of your plant . . .

May be lack of water. My DA's are both water hogs, lol!

If it's an immature Austin, it might need time to build its structure and root system.

If it's a mature Austin, it might be the hot weather...
