| I collected this from a very elderly lady's place. The roses had been there since at least the 50s. They're planted in a hell strip, are very upright, with large fragrant blooms, a bit purplish, very fragrant. I thought Chrysler Imperial, looking at her plants, & guessing from her guess, that they might have been planted in the 50s. The blooms on the cuttings remind me of Crimson Glory--more red. But it's not as thorny as the CG I have from Vintage. Dunno, the plant is chlorotic, the blooms will probably darken in the fall. Course, there are many other fragrant old HTs |

| Thanks! My first impression, too. Her oldies were gorgeous & so fragrant. The young cuttings' blooms aren't characteristic in form or color yet, but smell wonderful. |
