| Sounds like spam but it's true! HA.
A local nursery had 3 gallon roses on sale for $10 each ($8 for climbers). This is what I bought: 2 jacob's robe CL 1 stormy weather CL 2 twilight zone FB 2 over the moon 2 rhapsody in blue 2 grand dame oh my! white licorice pumpkin patch gourmet popcorn fragrant plum I have PROMISED MYSELF that I will stick to noisettes, gallicas and RARE HT's for mail order. Right? Right? |

| S&W usually has very good roses. Get them in the ground ASAP. Whatever you do, DO NOT fertilize them this year. Just water good and get them ready for cold weather. Next spring your roses should go nuts. You do have some roses in there that will need to be sprayed for black spot, so don't get upset if it shows up if not sprayed. If you happen to be driving by the nursery any time soon you might want to see if a couple of Moonstones could jump into your back seat :) |
