| Hi, I was reading the other day about the rose rosette disease and was concerned if I had this disease. Will anyone let me know if this looks like the rose rosette disease? Thank you. |

| That doesn't look like RRD to me. More like a reaction to spray or possibly cold weather? |
|
| Thanks I was concerned, it might be the change in temp it gets really hot here in California. |

| If you are in California it is highly unlikely since the mite is on the other side of the Rockies |
|
| No. That is not RRD. Are you concerned about the red color? Don't be! Healthy new growth is mahogany red on MANY roses, and this is perfectly normal for them. See, below, brand new growth on a Tea Rose, 'Mme. Lambard.' Tea Roses are in the family tree of most of your modern Hybrid Teas, so it is hardly surprising that you see this characteristic. Jeri |

| Thank you kippy-the-hippy and Jeri, I was concerned about the red color.. I've had this bush for almost 12 years and I started seeing this red color since last year. But I recently heard about the RRD and was concerned. |
