Help, Rose midge

Hello all, I had a very good spring flush on my roses. After that most of my rose bushes got affected by blackspot and the plants got completely exfoliated. Now they have tender new growth that is all affected by rose midge. Leave alone the battle with Beetles.
Any good organic control for rose midge and blackspot, or any good chemical spray that controls both.
I do not want to use Bayer 3 in 1, as I am worried it may kill the earth worms.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated please.
Thanks, Madri

You don't want to use Bayer 3 in 1 anyway. Because of the mixture none of the three things it's supposed to do are particularly effective. You don't want to use a fungicide and a fertilizer when all you want is an insecticide. Find an insecticide that lists rose midge as one of the insects it's effective on and go with that.
