| Today I was at my local nursery and couldn't resist a crown princess margareta that was there on clearance.. That being said , can anyone suggest or share roses that compliment her color? I've just had a new fence built this summer and have a spot for her, but wanted to pair her up with another. Was thinking about Tess.. Or maybe Ben Britten?Thanks guys:) |

| This is my first year with CPM, I have her with Bolero, a white rose. I purposely put these two together as I wanted CPM to be the star. I own Ben Britten as well, in a pot. Benjamin Brittens color is quite dark and I think you would find your eye going to Benjamin in the garden instead of CPM. I'd post you a picture, but mine is still quite small and not in bloom at the moment. So keep in mind where you want the eye to go to first in the garden. |

| I don't have CPM......yet lol. She is on my must have this rose list and I think her blooms are gorgeous. I agree that a white rose would be next to her. I also think a creamy color or very pale yellow would compliment her. I would think something like the Crocus rose would be a good mix of a creamy white with a hint of yellow. Let us know what you decide and I can't wait to see pics! |

| My CPM is paler than it looked in the Austin catalog. For me, it is not a rose that jumps out at you. I have Legends planted nearby. I have an Intrigue in a pot that needs planting - am thinking that color would look good next to CPM. It is on one side of an arbor - Peach Silk is on the other side. I think almost any color would look good with it. Since it is so pale, I think some brighter colors around it would liven it up. Plan to plant some annuals around it in bright colors. Its a nice climber - grows and blooms well. Not many in this Texas heat right now, but I do see a few here and there. I actually like the color of Crepuscule better, but CPM is a creditable rose for me. Judith |

| I had both in my last garden. CPM had its best colour in cool weather. Really loved it then. I have a number of similar-colored roses now and find that a pink rose called Siena (I got if from Palatine) makes for a fantastic combination with the soft yellows. It is in between Charlotte and Molineux. Siena has varying shades of soft pink and it always has lots of blooms. However the plant is short and the flowers are small. But I absolutely love it. My suggestion regarding colour is that you look for a rose with a similar saturation of colour, yet of a contrasting colour. Hence the suggestion of a soft pink with the pale yellow to soft golden orange. |
