I just have to shout out the praises of the Campfire Rose. It has had abundant flowers since spring. The foliage and bush are extremely healthy with no spraying whatsoever and minimal fertilizing. It came back to life this spring after a very harsh winter without any protection. This rose seems to me to be the perfect landscape rose for colder climates - that is if you like the colour combination of pink and yellow.

I wonder about all of the roses which have red buds, open yellow, and then turn pink (or red) and white. The miniature Rainbow's End, Joseph's Coat, and of course mutabilis for starters. Dose anyone know if they are all descended from mutabilis, or is it some sort of mutation that just shows up occasionally? Jackie

Both your photography and your use of plant combinations is really nice -- I wish you would post some panoramic garden photos.
