newroses,

Do you have any inside information on when Kormelaus will be available in the United States? I've already confessed to my infatuation with it years ago - in the useful link thread.

And I see that it has since garnered numerous (here:) Awards.

So hopefully you can understand that I certainly haven't forgotten about it.

Any information will be appreciated.

Here is a link that might be useful: KORmelaus

Sonnenwelt (KORmelaus) was bred by Korde's new hybridizer Dr. Proll in 2012.

Lovely lovely.

That is truly gorgeous. I couldn't find it anywhere either. The reason I am interested is that I have a Caramel Fairy Tale on the way (Thurs maybe) and it has very similar coloring. But I must admit, the bloom form on the KORmelaus is more beautiful. Post it here if you find it.

Did you check with Palatine (I recommended asking them in the earlier thread) to see if they might have a mother plant and plans for offering in the next year or two?

diane_nj,

That is very kind of you to mention, but I grow own root roses (I regret my two grafted exceptions) so I have to wait until it becomes available own root which usually takes even longer (an additional year or two).

The reason I didn't answer previously is that your information might very well be useful for those who prefer grafted roses.

Though not for me, I thank you for the information nonetheless.
