DA's Eglantyne anyone growing it?

My DA bands from Spring Heirloom order are doing well and most have bloomed. I really like Lord Mountbatten. Anyway, Eglantyne truly looks like a small octupus---How do I deal with that as she matures? Thanks! Susan

It forms a dense twiggy shrub here, with a rounded growth habit. It throws tall canes in summer with candelabras. I prune these back in spring time which produces good blooming off these big canes.

It is a freestanding shrub, quite sturdy.

Mine isn't a band but looks like a young octopus as well. I'm hoping for sturdier canes eventually. Thanks for sharing the picture so we can all be hopeful while our little plants grow.
