Is my SA okay?

Here is a picture of Sharifa Asma. I dunno but do these leaves look normal? I mean they curve and become hard. It was doing well in the winters (I'm in the tropics per se so winter is rose awesome blooming time). Does it look diseased or could it be just the heat (we had 38'C yesterday). Would shade help?

I have many other roses and all seem to be doing fine except this. I spray insecticide and fungicide cuz BS/Mildew is a problem due to the high humidity. Any help would be great!

P.S black circled is old growth, Red circle is new growth*

Looks pretty much like mine here north of Los Angeles, other than no severe RMV infection. The foliage does age to a hard, stiff texture. From that photo, I don't see anything "wrong". Kim

Nope. That looks right.
I rather liked the "quilted" texture of the leaf -- but it mildewed here a little, even back when we sprayed, so it's long-gone.
