should I prune these or let them be?

Someone told me in a post I made awhile back trying to identify these roses, that they were probably some type of Fairy rose bush. I have done absolutely nothing to them this year, and they are flourishing roses like crazy.....especially later on in the summer and even going into fall. My question, being a new gardner and new home owner....should I do anything to this bush in the fall or spring? Hedge it back at all? Or just let it be? Thanks.

Let it be. Some Rose-tone in spring would be nice and you could spread a couple bags of compost or bark mulch around them (also in spring). The Fairy abides.

It's not a good idea to prune roses in the fall in cold climates. It they need some clean up of dead wood early spring is the best time. During the season if they're getting a little too big you can shape them and cut them back some when you dead head the spent blooms. Otherwise just a little fertilizer now and then and water when needed.
