I have two Knockout Roses in my front landscaping that have overtaken their space. I would like to replace them with a smaller rose bush, something that will only grow to about 2 to 2-1/2 feet tall and about 2-1/2 to 3 feet wide. Can someone recommend something that would work?

What about those Flower Carpet roses? They are supposed to be easy care and short. I actually think they are pretty. I don't hate them nearly as much as the Knockouts :)

It's a shame that no one in the garden center would ever tell a customer that KO roses get to big. (They probably don't know.) There's a KO just north of me in Greenspring Gardens that is a full seven feet tall! My two go-to recommendations for easy care, smaller size, and lots of flowers are Caldwell Pink (aka Pink Pet) and White Pet. The bushes themselves are fairly compact and they bloom a LOT. Just as easy as KO, but better ... IMO. Connie

Thanks for the ideas! I will check them out.

The Fairy series roses are polyanthas that come in different colors. They work well as landscaping plants, need almost no maintenance and will stay as nice 2-3 feet tall and wide shrubs covered in flowers.
