Thanks Kentucky_rose, thanks Diane. Yes, some of them are at their best right now. The blooms are larger and colors more vivid. Right now I have several really plump buds just waiting to open and of course I am hoping we don't have a killing frost before that happens. It is always bittersweet for me when the season is winding down. I will miss the roses so much, but I am trying to enjoy their beauty right now and it makes me really look forward to the spring flush.
