hello I recently in this last august planted a sunny knockout rose and it did real well for its first month. I know it a little late to plant a rose. since then it has not produced any new starts and looks like it is not doing anything. I know it is fall and my other five roses are putting out new growth. what can I do to make sure that the plant is alive and be able to grow next spring. thanks.
Follow-Up Postings:

Yep its fall and it probably put energy into growing roots instead so it can handle larger top growth in the future.

Don't panic until next spring--if it doesn't start growing and blooming then. Right now--it is trying to get ready for winter by working on its roots. Kate
